Wonderfully Concise!

http://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/new-models-will-allow-investigative-journalism-to-thrive/2012/05/07/gIQA8ovEAU_story.html?wpisrc=nl_opinions

Today, Katrina vanden Heuvel, Editor and publisher of the Nation magazine, seems to be wonderfully concise in her writing - the Earth Planet needs much more thoughtful, writing and thinking, if "we" can step forward with the our civilization!

The Presidents Club

Today,

As I am reading this book (The Presidents Club), I am thinking about how Sociology works. "Scientifically", we seem to be going forward to the moon and the stars - while the "Social" matters, in Earth Planet ,seem to be "cycling" around, and around, and around, like a dark, dirty, pool, with no end in sight!

Well, the "choice" is within each persons own mind - "Try Again or Fail", which "choice" will you use?

This seems right to me - how about you?

Your Own Choice!

https://mail.google.com/mail/#inbox/137283517ffd3c4c

"When Religious Leaders Lose Their Faith"

Just for my own thinking, as an Old Goat, faith, religion, atheism, etc., goes with each humans own thinking - regardless of who anyone else might try to change it - unless you want to! That's because no other human can know anymore than you can about this "stuff"!

So, there is huge power that we can feel within each human mind, but we cannot ever really understand behind it! Therefor, each of us humans can make the most of our time in life, or not - it is our own choice!

For me, I choose to do the best that I can, while my mind is still available to try - including helping others in our Earth Planet!

Forward, not Backward!

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/05/07/charles-barkley-mitt-romn_n_1492697.html?igoogle=1

For ME - I wish that more of these folks (like Charles Barkley) would "chime" in, instead of "muting" out! The Earth Planet needs "progressive", not "conservative" thinking, in order to "explore" forward, not backward!

Balance Again!

http://rendezvous.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/05/06/denouement-in-france/

I think the quotes ("-") are probably correct:

"The present backlash, however, may be driven less by ideology than by a generalized discontent with any government that has failed to live up to expectations," Harvey writes. "That has led some to turn not to the left but also, in the case of France and Greece, to the siren calls of the far right."

But, the amount of "turmoil" from the Earth Planet, SUGGESTS that more of the "regular folks" will TRY AGAIN to BALANCE with THOUGHT instead of ANGER - which would be better for ALL!

The Game Starts Again!

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/05/05/obama-2012-rallies_n_1483491.html?igoogle=1

Well, the "game" is now on - but, the adversaries started the "war" when Obama was elected 4 years earlier! I guess that there have been many other Presidents (in our USA history) that have had to tackle the "wars" between "conservatives" and "progressives" that seem to go out to the "fringes" instead of thinking and acting for "most", in the "balanced" middle - where sane folks still live - with The Old Goat!
